The 15 rules of business that Dynamic Student Assessments follows and implements within its guidelines that it is bound by according to the Shariah, this compliance is obligatory upon all members of our business
Allah says: “Woe to those that deal in fraud.” (Qur’an 83:1)
Always speak the truth in transactions and avoid lying, exaggeration, or deception.
Allah says: “Allah has permitted trade and forbidden riba.” (Qur’an 2:275)
Never engage in interest-based dealings. Avoid bank loans with riba, and don’t charge customers interest.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The sale is valid only if both parties consent.” (Sahih Muslim)
Ensure all terms, pricing, and conditions are clear and agreed upon by all parties—avoid ambiguity and hidden clauses.
Do not sell what you do not own, or engage in risky, speculative, or ambiguous transactions.
Always describe goods accurately and avoid deceptive marketing.
Allah says: “Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss.” (Qur’an 26:181)
Make sure to deliver what is promised in full—whether in quantity, quality, or service.
Refrain from selling alcohol, pork, pornography, or engaging in gambling or unethical services.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “When Allah forbids something, He forbids its price.” (Ahmad)
Prophet ﷺ said: “Give the worker his wages before his sweat dries.” (Ibn Majah)
Be punctual in salaries, commissions, and profit-sharing as per agreed terms.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever hoards is a sinner.” (Muslim)
Don’t stockpile goods to artificially increase prices or exploit market scarcity.
Allah says: “Fulfill (every) covenant. Verily! the covenant will be questioned about.” (Qur’an 17:34)
Honor business agreements, delivery schedules, and quality guarantees.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Beware of false oaths. They promote trade but erase blessings.” (Bukhari)
Never swear by Allah falsely to convince customers or boost sales.
Allah says: “And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him…” (Qur’an 65:2-3)
Conduct all business as if Allah is watching. Seek halal earnings and make dua for barakah (blessing) in your trade.
Dealings must be fair. Exploitation, fraud and deceit are strictly prohibited
Prices must be just, contracts must be equitable
Fulfill contracts, promises and commitments
Do not betray partners, customers or suppliers
Care for the poor, employees and community
Avoid monopolistic and exploitative behavior
Trade should uplift society not harm it
Islam encourages earning wealth but discourages hoarding, extravagance and greed.
Wealth is a trust from Allah and must be used responsibly
